A month of fun at Skagit Valley Tulip Festival
The beautiful bulbs are blooming now, all ready for the 26th annual Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, which begins April 1 and continues through the month. Thanks to the warm winter, the two major growers report fields of flowers in bloom as of March 25. RoozenGaarde and Tulip Town both offer huge walkthrough tulip fields, west of downtown Mount Vernon, on the way toward La Conner. Full Story

For the third year, the Stanwood Camano Arts Guild is showcasing the works of more than 20 artists on the tulip route of the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival, at Christianson’s Nursery, in the 1888 Meadow Schoolhouse on Best Road open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily April 3 through May 2. Full Story
