Donald E. Einarsen, 80, passed away February 18, 2010, at his home on Camano Island. He was born on the island on May 8, 1929, and graduated from Stanwood High School in 1947.

Don and Marj moved the family back to Camano Island in 1966 where they remodeled the family farmhouse as home for many years.

Don was active in community events and served as the master of ceremonies for the Stanwood-Camano Community Fair several times.

After Don and Marj retired, Don spent summers on the Camaloch Golf Course and walked the desert in sunny Arizona in the winter.

Don will be missed by many friends, his son Jon, daughter Jaye and four grandchildren.

A celebration of Don’s life is scheduled for 2 p.m., April 24, at the Camaloch Community Center.
