Sall Hutson
Former art curator in need of help
Dear Editor:
After accompanying Sall Hutson through 17 months of doctor appointments, tests, and chronic pain, I am writing to inform all her friends in the community on how she is doing.
She has pulled through a very challenging spinal surgery, which removed metal plates and screws buried in bone and the severe stenosis blocking the nerve pathways.
She is now able to be up for parts of the day.
Now we have learned that she will need further help. She has not been able to work full time for a year and a half and it will be more months of healing before she will be able to work again.
Any contributions will be tremendously helpful and we are grateful.
Sall would also like everyone to know that her beautiful property on Camano Island is up for sale.
We thank everyone who has and continues to help by doing Sall’s laundry, grocery shopping, hauling wood, care taking, and managing her affairs with such generous love and support. Sall does not have a computer at this time, but she can be reached at 360-722-1296 or contact her fund drive manager, Jules Faye at 360-826- 5306 or flywheel@premier1. net.
For those of us who have known Sall for many years, we know that she will come through this challenge with her characteristic courage, humor, creative spirit and generosity. Sall’s pre-surgery art can be seen at the Seagrass Gallery on Camano Island.
