Lights of Christmas

Thank you for supporting Warm Beach Camp

Dear Editor:

Before I step down from the helm of The Lights of Christmas at the end of March, I want to express my deep appreciation for each of you who support Warm Beach Camp and The Lights of Christmas.

Many of you are dear to me as you’ve volunteered or supported us with valuable services, but beyond that, you encouraged others to visit the lights and in turn, introduced them to our community.

So, please welcome your new Lights of Christmas director, Loren Isaac. He is a great and trusted friend who has partnered with me as assistant director during my tenure. He is a visionary and with our camp staff, is prepared to take the lights to another level.

What a privilege it has been to serve with many of you in the Stanwood Chamber and event committees as the camp representative.

You are gifted people who sacrifice time, energy and treasure to make things happen that make this a great place to live and serve.

I am filled with gratitude for the encouragement you gave during my tenure as chamber president; your words kept my vision clear on what was needed to serve our businesses and to improve interactions with government officials.

Please continue to lend your support by sharing Warm Beach Camp and The Lights of Christmas, as a place to breathe, to reflect, and experience a life changing moment under a “million lights and more.”

As Bruce the Spruce would say, “Cedar later!”
