Combative teen booked into Denny Youth Center

Stanwood Police reported to the following calls recently.

• On Feb. 28, a 14-yearold Stanwood boy was booked into the Denny Youth Center for assault and malicious mischief, after he intimidated a public servant while in possession of drug paraphernalia. He was contacted because he was sleeping behind the Stanwood Middle School. He was uncooperative, threatening and combative with police.

• A phone was stolen Feb. 25 in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 16-year-old Stanwood male is being referred for assault after he assaulted another student Feb. 26 in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW..

• On Feb. 26, a 31-yearold transient woman was arrested on warrants in the 6800 block of 284th Street NW.

• On Feb. 26, a 16-yearold Camano Island girl was referred for minor in possession of alcohol in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 15-year-old Camano Island boy is being referred for theft after stealing another student’s IPOD in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW Feb. 26.

• On Feb. 27, IPODS were stolen from a vehicle parked in the 7000 block of 285th Street NW.

• On Feb. 27, unknown suspect(s) attempted to enter a residence in the 7300 block of 282nd Place NW.

• A 20-year-old Stanwood man is being referred after being caught Feb. 27 driving with a suspended license in the 28500 block of 68th Avenue NW.

• A purse was reported stolen Feb. 28 from a vehicle parked in the 27200 block of Manor Place NW.

• Two vehicles collided Feb. 28 in the 10100 block of SR 532. The driver of the trailing vehicle crossed over the fog line and hit the back of the lead vehicle.

• A parent in the 27300 block of Village Place reported March 1 that her 16- year-old daughter had run away.

• An MP3 player was reported stolen March 1 from a vehicle parked in the 7700 block of 265th Street NW.

• A resident of the 27500 block of 79th Drive NW reported fraudulent activity on his bank account March 1.

• On March 2, a vehicle traveling in the 9800 block of SR 532 was damaged by a large rock on the roadway.

• On March 3, a vehicle parking in the 8800 block of Viking Way hit some rebar that was sticking up from the concrete curbing.

• A 42-year-old Stanwood man was arrested March 3 for obstructing a public servant after he confronted a police officer in the 8900 block of 271st Street NW and refused to desist.

• A 31-year old Stanwood man was arrested on warrants March 3 in the 9200 block of 271st Street NW.
