A psychedelic senior project

While “Alice in Wonderland” stole first place at the box office last weekend, Celeste Glover (left) borrowed the former Cravings building and transformed it into a psychedelic tea party. Complete with cupcakes, papier-mâché mushrooms and costumed characters – even the Cheshire Cat, who looked extremely pleased with the entire affair – Glover’s senior project invited guests to tumble down the rabbit hole and into the mind of an incredibly creative teenager and her friends. All proceeds benefited the Stanwood-Camano Food Bank. Tea will be served again next weekend, this time with children in mind. Kids are invited to view “Alice” at 9 a.m. Saturday, and afterwards join the party at 11 a.m. Donations will once again benefit the food bank.
