SnoCo looks for new director
The Snohomish County Council thawed a corner of the countywide hiring freeze to fill the planning department director position.
Council granted an initial exemption for the position last year. The 2010 budget readopted a hiring freeze, requiring the current release. Full Story
The family of Niles Meservey, the Stanwood man shot by an Everett police officer, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the city of Everett.
Tanda Louden, Meservey’s daughter, filed the claim. She is being represented by Paul Luvera, lead attorney and managing partner at Luvera Law firm in Seattle. Full Story
