Quilting for charity
Making quilts for homeless shelters and contributing to Lutheran World relief are only two of the many charitable activities to which women of Freeborn Lutheran Church devote their energies. Freeborn founder passes away
Tom Rodin passed away last Friday night, leaving behind a legacy the area now takes for granted.
Rodin was one of the original founders of the Freeborn Fire Station and District 14.
Rodin left the position of assistant chief of district 36, in King County, and moved to Freeborn in 1962 to find – well, nothing, really. Full Story
