CLAREBELLE C. TRONDSON
SEPt. 14, 1927 — FEB. 9, 2010
Clarebelle C. Trondson went on a journey February 9, 2010 to be reunited with her husband Frank and her son Allen.
She was born September 14, 1927 to Charles and Andrea St. Peter in Kenmare, ND.
Clarebelle married the love of her life, Frank Trondson, August 3, 1946. They had two children, Allen and Carol Jean.
In May of 1956 they moved to the Stanwood area.
Clarebelle had many interests throughout the years. She enjoyed camping, bowling, crocheting doilies and afghans, playing cribbage and poker. She loved hummingbirds, garage sales, dancing, volunteering at the Eagles and working the gate during fair days.
She was a very caring and sincere person who was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Frank and her son Allen (both in 2006), her brother Merle, and sisters Odis and Harriet.
She is survived by her daughter, Carol Jean (John) Lervick, grandchildren Christopher and Tara, daughter-in-law Bonny Trondson and “extended family” brother Woods, sisters Vi Kostenko and Betty (Fred) Abelseth, sister-inlaws Dorothy Ickes and Joyce Trondson, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Eagles 3041 Building Fund, 6419 Pioneer Highway, Stanwood, WA 98292, or the American Legion Scholarship fund, or Skagit Hospice, P.O. Box 1376, Mount Vernon, WA 98273.
A memorial service was held Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Gilbertson Funeral Home followed by a celebration of Clarebelle’s life at the American Legion.
