I was disappointed to read about Senator Haugen’s proposal to apply an additional registration fee to electric vehicles as a substitute gas tax for people who don’t use gas.

Too much litter
Dear Editor:
A lot of people on Camano Island are concerned about all the litter along the roads and in the ditches. I have been trying to pick up litter on the part of Russell Road where I walk my dog. I’ve even picked up dirty diapers along Russell Road (very carefully). When the county cuts brush, littered cans are cut-up, they are hard to pick up. Full Story
