RUSSELL A. BREWER
JULY 6, 1925 - JANUArY 30, 2010
Russ passed away at the age of 84 on Saturday, January 30, 2010 at Warm Beach Community Center. He was born in Spokane and lived in Bellevue for 48 years before moving to Stanwood.
Russ married Shirley Johnson on October 28, 1950 in Spokane.
At 73-years-old, Russ accepted Christ as his savior while he was a member of Westminster Chapel.
He retired from Pacific Trail Sportswear where he was credit manager.
His passions included golf, following the stock market, camping, traveling, gardening and working in his shop.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Shirley Brewer; daughter and son-in-law Wendy and Mike Schaefer; daughter and son-in-law Andrea and Jon Conley; grandchildren Miquel Carlson, Joel Carlson, Tarah Conley, Kirsten Nance and husband, Thomas Nance, and Rachael Conley; great-grandchildren Ashley Conley, Carlile Nance and Lilah Nance.
He was preceded in death by his brother James T. Brewer.
Services were held at Warm Beach Senior Community on Saturday, February 6, 2010.
