Home and garden show digs up creative ideas
The seventh annual Everett Home & Garden Show March 5 – 7 will include a variety of home improvement experts in the Comcast Arena, with hundreds of building and remodeling ideas for the home, garden and yard.
The local producers of the event are dedicated to showcasing businesses based here in Snohomish county and beyond.
Exhibitors and sponsors include Judd & Black Appliances, Dunn Lumber and Snohomish County PUD.
Special features at the show include Snohomish County PUD’s cost incentives for solar power; organic gardening with special guest speaker Jennifer Carlson of Haven Illustrated; do-it-yourself projects from Dunn Lumber; and a wind generator display from West Seattle Natural Energy.
Special guest speakers are Steve Smith of Sunnyside Nursery and Jennifer Carlson of Haven Illustrated.
After 61 years in Snohomish County, Smith is a master gardener and popular local gardening columnist and personality.
Carlson will present easy and economical green living ideas for your home and garden.
Tickets to the show are $6.75 for adults and $6.25 for seniors (55 and up) available at the door only. Children 16 and under are free. $1 off coupons are available online at EverettHomeGardenShow. com. The show’s open noon – 6 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
