The annual eighth grade Port Susan Middle (PSMS) versus Stanwood Middle school rivalry basketball game took place recently at PSMS, ending in a convincing victory for PSMS. The teams played each other twice this year and both won on their home courts. Many of the boys played together on Stanwood AAU teams over the last four years. It is estimated that more than 500 games have been played by the boys. This last matchup marks the end of playing against one another. Next year they’ll come together as Stanwood High School Spartans.
