Downtown Team Fitness closes

When Team Fitness downtown closed Sunday at 1 p.m., it was for the last time.

The sport location, uptown near Bartell Drugs and the Everett Clinic, is now the only location. It is open Monday through Friday, 4 a.m. – 11 p.m.; Saturday 7 a.m. – 10 p.m.; Sunday 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.

At press time, Team Fitness managers and owners had declined to comment, although the Team Fitness Web site (www.teamfitness. info) has updated class schedules reflecting only one location.

The clubs were expected to merge after an expansion of the Team Fitness sport location was complete. However, that expansion had not yet begun when the downtown location was unexpectedly closed without warning members.
