RSVP seeking volunteers over 55 years of age

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), sponsored by Catholic Community Services Snohomish County, is looking for persons over 55 for many interesting and meaningful volunteer opportunities in the community.

With more than 400 RSVP volunteer opportunities throughout the county in every area of interest and level of ability, there is sure to be something for everyone.

All RSVP volunteers receive free supplemental liability, accident and automobile insurance coverage while performing their volunteer duties along with an ongoing personal recognition program, the chance to meet new people and learn new skills.

RSVP exists to help volunteers 55 and above to find fulfillment in their volunteer work. RSVP matches a volunteer’s lifetime of skills and experience to the organization of choice. RSVP is America’s largest volunteer network for persons over 55 and the only agency where the collective contribution of the senior volunteer is recorded.

A free information session to review the volunteer opportunities at Providence Hospice & Home Care is scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 20 and again, Wednesday, Feb. 17 in downtown Everett. To register and to get driving/ parking information call 425-261-4815 by Jan. 15 or by Feb. 16 for the Febuary session.
