Crab feeds
Two crab feeds will take place Sat, Jan. 23. Camano Island crab fest at the Camano Senior and Community Center, 606 Arrowhead Road,from 3 to 7 p.m. serving to each person one whole Dungeness crab, coleslaw, baked beans, bread, beverage and dessert. Tickets available at the center; sponsored by The Angel of the Winds Casino. Camano Country Club’s crab dinner begins with a social hour 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres (BYOB), followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Menu also includes coleslaw, beans, garlic bread, greens with dressing, and dessert. Camano Island Women’s Republican Club (CIWRC) will meet noon Tues, Jan. 26, Lost Lake Community Center, 1469 West Lake Drive. Republican issues will be discussed. Lunch will be served at noon prior to the meeting. CIWRC welcomes new members and visitors from the Camano/Stanwood area.
Selah Service at St. Aidan’s Sunday
“Darkness into Light,” Third Sunday of Epiphany, is an hour of contemplative prayer, psalms and music led by Jeff Johnson with violinist, Wendy Goodwin. Utsalady Ladies Aid tea coming up
The Utsalady Ladies Aid is holding the annual “tea” Feb. 6 and 7, with Saturday’s tea being poured at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and again at 3 p.m. Sunday’s tea will be poured only at 1 p.m. Menu includes fruit, scones and tea sandwiches, ending with cookies. For reservations, call Pat Major, 629-3267.
Yacht club seeks new members

Radio Ham Club hosts guest speaker
Stanwood/Camano Radio Ham Club meeting will be Jan. 21, 7 p.m. at the Madrona Fire Station, 916 West 5th Street, Camano. Program will be Jim KE7MHF, talking about ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Services). Everyone is welcome.

Popcorn and free movie night at center
It’s popcorn and movie night at 7 p.m. Wed., Jan. 20, in the Camano Multipurpose Center, 141 East Camano Drive (blue building by tennis courts). “Pollinators in Peril,” a 47-minute documentary hosted by Peter Fonda, shows the importance of bees, birds, bats and insects to human food production.
