Road upkeep

Thanks for fixing the pothole

Dear Editor:

Thank you Andrew Bullington, Stanwood public works director, for filling in that pothole and opening up the view for drivers who approach the corner of 72nd and 276th. That old bush was a real traffic accident waiting to happen.

Now the next job I’d like to see you undertake is to install the sidewalk the city owes to the Candle Ridge subdivision that borders 80th.

And again, thanks for your quick response in regard to the above dangerous intersection.

P.S. Please remind the mayor she owes the horseshoe pits a plaque.
