Invitation

Relay for Life kicks off Jan. 26

Dear Editor:

As co-chairs of the Stanwood Camano Relay for Life, we are inviting all those who participated in our event last year—survivors, caregivers, supporters, walkers, captains – and anyone interested in participating this year – to our kick-off 5:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 26 at the Big Red Barn on the Stanwood/Camano Fairgrounds.

Opportunities to sign up as a survivor, member of a team and/or team captain, and a vast array of information will be provided.

Again, we plan to publish the book, “Make Every Day Count! Volume II,” with new survivor profiles and updates on those profiled last year. Questionnaires for survivors and samples of last year’s book will be there.

This year’s theme will be “Relay for Life: Official Sponsor of Birthdays!” It’s “gonna” be the biggest birthday party you’ve ever attended, with a surprise as well!

We look forward to seeing you 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 26, at the Red Barn on the Stanwood/Camano Fairgrounds.
