Community support

Children’s project very successful

Dear Editor:

We are so thankful at the Wana Duma Children’s Project for such an amazing and supportive community! We would like to thank the Team Fitness Sports Clubs, especially their staff, for hosting Christmas trees and collecting donations for our kids in Gilgil, Kenya.

We would also like to thank the Stanwood Camano Learning Center and the Stanwood Senior Center for including us in their holiday outreach and Studio 271 for hosting a Christmas tree and collecting donations at the salon for our kids, and also, the Camano Veterinary Clinic for their years of support.

We cannot operate without our generous community and we have been very blessed again this year in reaching our fundraising goals for 2009. Through community support we are helping a child become educated and have the chance for a healthy adulthood.

Thank you Stanwood and Camano!
