Accident
Dear Editor:
On December 9, I was involved in an auto/pedestrian accident and got pinned between two cars.
Both legs were injured.
But a guardian “angel” must have been watching over me because the accident could have been much worse. Immediately after it happened, several “angels” disguised as my friends were there to comfort me and wait for the medics.
After surgery and a couple days at the hospital, neighbors were waiting at our home to assist me. For the past month, “angels” have appeared with food, sent cards, phoned and offered help in so many ways.
One “angel” treated me to a shampoo and style.
Some cleaned our house, the windows were cleaned and most recently a ramp was built over the steps, so my husband would not have to risk injury helping me.
I’m receiving excellent home care from nurses, a physical therapist and a bath aide. I’m a very pampered woman because of many “angels”.
The most devoted and caring “angel” taking care of me 24/7 has been my husband, Bill.
Camano Island is the most caring island in the world, thank you.
A big thank you to all others who have helped and expressed their concern.
I’m on the road to recovery – thanks to all you “angels.”
