Community Focus

Boys and parents from Boy Scout Troop #86 were busy Jan. 2, picking up Christmas trees around Stanwood neighborhoods. Residents donated almost $700 to the scouts for their efforts. Of this money, half will be donated to the Stanwood-Camano Kiwanis Club for the Char Peiffer Memorial Scholarship. The group’s annual collection supports local youth activities and provides a service to local residents.
