DR. H.E. WARSINSKE
MAY 18, 1918 – DEC. 25, 2009
Longtime Stanwood veterinarian, Harold Warsinske, died Christmas Day after a short illness. Dr. Warsinske was a large and small animal practitioner who, with his colleague, Dr. Gene Elefson, pioneered the practice of bovine embryo transfer in the United States. Full Story
SHAWN PATRICK MADIGAN
JULY 15, 1967 - DEC. 26, 2009
Shawn Patrick Madigan peacefully ascended to our Lord and Savior, Dec. 26 2009 at age 42, after a long and courageous battle with juvenile diabetes.
Shawn was born July 15, 1967 and grew up in Stanwood. He graduated from Stanwood High School in 1985. Full Story
DAVID S. THOMAS JR
JULY 23, 1921 – DEC. 17, 2009
David S. Thomas Jr. (Papa) was born July 23, 1921, and raised in Denver, Colo., and he passed away Dec. 17, 2009 with his family by his side.
Dave came to the Northwest in 1942 after joining the Navy during World War II. He married Georgia Titus in 1945 and they raised three daughters.
He was widowed in 1974 and spent the last 23 years living on Camano Island. Full Story
