CIBA president, directors sworn in
Barry Van Sickle was sworn in as the first ever Camano Island Builders Association (CIBA) president at the Dec. 17 general membership dinner meeting held at Gerry Andal’s Restaurant in Stanwood.
CIBA is a newly formed chapter of the Skagit/Island Counties Builders Association (SICBA).
Van Sickle owns and operates Van Sickle Construction on Camano Island.
Also sworn in was the board of directors: Jim Hall (James Hall & Associates), first vice president, Gil Powell (G.A. Powell Construction Inc.) and Darrell Potter (Landmark Homes NW Inc.), and, associate board members Randy Heagle (Windermere/Stanwood & Camano Island) and Tom Hagge (Hagge Design Associates Inc.).
Hundreds of dollars and dozens of toys were also donated by those in attendance, for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program.
