Twin City Collision is hosting a free car care clinic Sat., Jan. 9, 11 a.m. Attendees will learn many tasks necessary to keep their vehicle running efficiently, what questions to ask when hiring a professional, your rights as a customer, what regular maintenance needs to be performed and how often, how to improve your gas mileage, how to change a tire, etc. Lunch will be provided and space is limited; call to reserve your seat, 629-5152.

T-shirt artists take note

“Small Town – Big Fair” is the 2010 Stanwood-Camano Community Fair theme, and artwork for the annual t-shirt is now being accepted. Fair dates are Aug. 6, 7 and 8, with the winning design receiving $200. Artwork must be clear, camera ready and in jpeg format. Send to P.O. Box 901, Stanwood, or call 629-4121.
