Juanita Hubbard (Billy) Wagner died at her home on Camano Island, Dec. 10, 2009. She was born in Nevada City, Calif., in 1920, the youngest child of John Van der Veer Hubbard and Rose Dee Hubbard.
She got a degree in chemistry at University of California, Berkeley. Full Story

Delbert Mitchell, formerly of Stanwood, passed away Dec. 5, 2009 in Spokane. He was 88 years old.

DAVID S. THOMAS
JULY 23, 1921 – DEC. 17, 2009
David S. Thomas Jr. was born on July 23, 1921 and raised in Denver, Colo.
He came to the Northwest in 1942 after joining the Navy during World War II. David married Georgia Titus in 1945 and they raised three daughters. He was widowed in 1974 and spent the last 23 years living on Camano Island.
David passed away on Dec. 17, 2009 with his family by his side. Full Story
