Wonderful adult care

Warm Beach health care center does a great job

Dear Editor:

I often read Jennifer Kelly’s “Life Goes On.”

I was most pleased to read her column on Nov. 24 regarding the nursing home at Warm Beach Senior Community.

My parents were residents there and required nursing services.

I was appreciative and relieved for the care they received, mostly my mother, whose care was longest.

As children of parents needing care in their final days, you continually question whether you’re making the best decisions for their needs.

My mother was fortunate to have her mental capacity intact to the end and she chose to stay at Warm Beach.

It was a great comfort to me to see the love and care that surrounded her as she declined.

Even though my mother passed early 2006, I still visit and volunteer at WBSC. I continue to marvel at the tough job it often is and I feel staff should be commended more frequently for the work they do to care for our loved ones.
