Two hit-and-run collisions reported in Stanwood

Stanwood Police responded to the following calls last week.

• A vehicle hit-and-run collision was reported in the 7300 block of 262nd Street NW Dec. 1 and another vehicle hit-and-run collision occurred Dec. 2 in the 10200 block of 270th Street NW.

• An unsecured bike was taken Dec. 1 from the 7500 block of 267th Street NW during an after school sporting event.

• A two-car collision occurred Dec. 2 in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW when failing brakes were noted as the cause.

• Police were dispatched Dec. 2 to the 26900 block of 103rd Drive NW to the report of an adult male requesting police and aid for an intoxicated male. Male was checked by aid and taken home.

• A 25-year-old male in the 27000 block of 102nd Drive NW called 911 Dec. 3 to report he was going to hurt himself. He was transported on an involuntary commit. He has had numerous previous contacts of the same nature.

•A two-car collision occurred Dec. 3 in the 92nd Ave NW intersection of 271st St NW.

• Items were stolen Dec. 4 from a purse in a vehicle parked in the 26900 block of 102nd Avenue NW.

• A window screen was damaged Dec. 4 on a home in the 10000 block of 270th Street NW in an apparent attempt to enter the residence.

• Money was stolen Dec. 5 in the 8700 block of 271st Street NW.

• On Dec. 6, a 42-yearold Stanwood man was booked into jail for domestic violence assault after a fight with his wife in the 9700 block of SR 532.

• A 15-year-old Stanwood girl in the 8200 block of 272nd Street NW was arrested Dec. 6 for domestic violence after she assaulted her mother.

• A window on a truck parked in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW was shattered Dec. 7.

• Residents of the 28300 block of 71st Drive NW reported fraudulent activity on their accounts Dec. 7 and an investigation continues.

• Two different collisions occurred Dec. 7 in the 8900 block of SR 532. One had to brake hard to avoid colliding with the vehicle in front and then one was unable to stop in time.

• On Dec. 7, a 17-yearold Stanwood girl was referred for criminal trespass in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW. She had been given a notice not to come back to the business.

• A parent in the 27300 block of 104th Drive NW reported her 16-year-old daughter had run away Dec. 7, but she returned home several hours later.

• On Dec. 9, a 37-yearold Camano Island woman was referred for possession of controlled substance, obtaining a legend drug by fraud and burglary. She unlawfully entered a residence in the 7200 block of 265th Street NW and used medications that did not belong to her.

• Two different residents of the 7200 block of 266th Street NW reported Dec. 10 that medications and money were missing from their homes some time in the past couple of months.

• Two-17-year old Camano Island girls are being referred for shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW Dec. 10.
