Jackie Erickson was born Oct. 30, 1947 in Park Rapids, Minn., and moved to Bellevue where she attended school. She met Jack Erickson in 1968 and they were married for 41 years. They moved to Camano Island in 1981. They had two lovely children, daughter Shawn and son Stephen, and two wonderful grandchildren, Jonathon and Angie, whom she loved deeply. Full Story

Sidney K. Wright was born Jan. 4, 1937 and passed away peacefully on Nov. 25, 2009 with his wife of 51 years Sharon and children by his side.
Sidney enjoyed the view from their home in Warm Beach, loved to travel and loved old cars.

CHARLOTTE PEIFFER
Charolotte (Char) Peiffer, age 61 of Camano Island, passed away unexpectedly on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 26, 2009. She was the beloved wife of Tom Peiffer. She is survived by her mother Vernalee Morgan of Yakima, her sister Peggy and husband Jim Maine also of Yakima and 16 grand children. Char was a long time community member who spent years as a leader in the local Kiwanis Club. Full Story

Howard Eugene Rod, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Nov. 27, 2009.
Howard was born on April 10, 1918 in Norman, Washington to Hartvig and Helena Rod. He lived his entire life in the Norman area where he was a dairy farmer.
He met the love of his life, Donnella Winkel, in early 1942 and they were married Nov. 21,1942. Full Story

Alma C. (Olauson) Mellum, born March 28, 1915, entered into eternal rest on Nov. 24, 2009.
She was born in Holberg, British Columbia, to Albert and Charlotte Olauson. When Alma was 3, the family moved to Stanwood where she later attended school. Full Story
