Rash of vehicle thefts in Stanwood earlier this month

Stanwood Police responded to the following calls recently:

On Nov. 3, four vehicles were stolen and recovered soon after: One vehicle was stolen from the 8600 block of Knutson Road and recovered nearby a short while later; a truck was stolen from the 27100 block of 82nd Drive NW and recovered in Skagit County the next day; a vehicle was stolen from the 7000 block of 277th Place N.W. and located nearby later the same day, and another from the 7400 block of 272nd Street N.W. was located in Tulalip several hours later. Another vehicle was reported stolen the next day, Nov. 4, from the 27500 block of 72nd Avenue N.W. and it too was recovered a few hours later in the county.

• A window was broken out of a vehicle parked in the 26900 block of 92nd Avenue NW and a camera and cash were stolen Nov. 1 and Nov. 2, windows were broken out of two vehicles parked in the 7200 block of 265th Street NW and items were stolen.

• A 15-year-old runaway was located in the 8800 block of 270th Street NW and released to his parent Nov. 2.

• It was reported Nov. 2 that two IPODS were reported stolen Oct. 30 from the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 17-year-old Stanwood male was referred Nov. 2 for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 15-year-old Camano Island boy was referred for third degree theft after being caught shoplifting Nov. 2 in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW.

• Nov. 2, a parent in the 27200 block of Church Creek Loop reported her 14- year-old daughter had run away.

• Nov. 3, it was reported that windows were broken out of a business in the 9100 block of 271st Street NW during the past week.

• A 15-year-old runaway male was located in the 8700 block of 271st Street NW and released to his parent Nov. 4.

• A 41-year-old Silvana man was referred Nov. 4 for driving with a suspended license in the 8500 block of Cedarhome Drive.

• Nov. 4, a victim reported a domestic violence assault that occurred Nov. 1 in the 8500 block of Cedarhome Drive and the investigation continues.

• Nov. 6, an IPOD and an MP3 Player were reported stolen from the 7400 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 14-year-old Stanwood boy was referred Nov. 6 for third degree theft after shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW.

• Nov. 6, a 21-year-old Marysville man was referred for driving with a suspended license in the 8700 block of 267th Street NW.

• A parent in the 8200 block of 272nd Street NW reported her 15-year-old daughter had run away Nov. 8.

• Nov. 8, a 29-year-old Camano Island man was referred for second degree theft after he stole money and food from a business in the 27000 block of 92nd Avenue NW.

• Nov. 9, a 27-year-old Arlington man was arrested a warrant in the 27000 block of 92nd Avenue NW and a 15-year-old Stanwood girl was arrested a warrant in the 8200 block of 272nd Street NW.

• A 58-year-old Stanwood woman was referred Nov. 10 for third degree theft after shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW.

• A driver in the 7200 block of 267th Street NW hit a building while attempting to park her vehicle Nov. 11.

• Two teen males of Stanwood were referred Nov. 11 for third degree theft after shoplifting in the 26600 block of 72nd Avenue NW.

• Nov. 12, a 14-year-old Stanwood girl was referred for second-degree burglary in the 26800 block of 94th Drive NW after she broke into a garage.

• Nov. 12, a driver in the 26700 block of 72nd Avenue NW hit a parked car.

• Landscaping blocks were reported stolen from the 27700 block of 85th Drive NW Nov. 12.

• Nov. 12, a parent in the 27200 block of 102nd Avenue NW reported her 17- year-old daughter had run away.

• A 21-year-old Stanwood woman was arrested Nov. 12, a for fourth degree domestic violence assault in the 8400 block of Henning Drive. She assaulted her boyfriend during an argument.

• Nov. 12, a purse was reported lost in the 27000 block of 92nd Avenue NW.
