City refuses to help upgrade holiday lights

Winners of AAUW art show

The recent AAUW Art for Education Show at the Bonnie S. Cole building at the fairgrounds was a resounding success for its 28th consecutive year.
Our new venue was a fabulous place to host this widely attended community event, and while the final financials are still being worked, we are very excited about the success of this year’s show. Full Story

Lions appreciate all the help

Once again, Lions and spouses working at the annual lutefisk dinner enjoyed the serving help of the high school girls volleyball team and their coaches, Erik, Lauri, Tim and Kaylie.

I am a longtime resident of Camano Island and graduate of Stanwood High School.
As such, it goes without saying that I have been passing through and shopping in Stanwood for many years. I have enjoyed Stanwood and the people of this area very much, and I still do. Full Story
