Pandemic readiness in action

Saturday’s H1N1 vaccination clinic at Heritage Park provided peace of mind to an estimated 2,600 citizens. The clinic served two batches of vaccinations to a priority group aged six months to 24 years, and 24- to 64-yearolds with chronic health conditions. Darin Reid, deputy chief of Stanwood-Camano Fire Department, credited success to 70 volunteers and staff. Reid also thanked restaurants and grocery stores for donating food.
