Senior center dance was fun

Dear Editor:

I did not think it could be so much fun to go to the senior center on Camano Island for a dance the other week. Some sweet friends brought me to have a new experience and so I could find out that there is more to life than being gloomy at home. I had such a good time.

The music by Camano Junction Orchestra was fantastic. They played the most beautiful songs by Glen Miller. It brought tears to my eyes.

The guests were dressed so nice and everyone had a good time dancing.

I left my elderly husband at home, to take a break from being a full-time caregiver for my ailing 89-yearold partner.

I just needed this evening. It was so enjoyable.

I loved to watch the young people dance; they could win on some show, like America’s Got Talent.

I even got a little dance in myself, with one of the young people, and my two left feet.
