SR 532 turn lanes nearing completion

WSDOT SR 532 project’s numerous turn lanes and the truck climbing lanes at three locations are nearing completion.

Crews will be putting on the finishing touches this week between 12th Avenue NW and 28th Avenue NW, when crews will alternate single lane traffic on SR 532 from 8:30 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. for striping and guardrail work.

The final coat of paving between 36th Avenue NW and 52nd Avenue NW was done Sunday night and Monday night and WSDOT crews started striping between 12th Avenue NW and 52nd Avenue NW. The work is weather dependent.

The project includes the Mark Clark Bridge where single lane closure is planned all week for ground work.

Drivers are encouraged to watch for crews working near the road and expect minor delays.
