H1N1 clinic to be held Sat. - Free Access An H1N1 flu clinic will be offered 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sat., Oct. 24, at Heritage Park, 9600 276th St. NW in Stanwood.
The drive-through vaccinations are available for free for pregnant women and children ages 6 months to 4 years. All other priority groups will need to wait for the clinic on Oct. 31 that will be held at the same time and same place.

Pearce and Steik go for open city council position

A 230-year-old Native American basket that was stolen from Stanwood’s D.O. Pearson House Museum in 2006 has been returned to its original owners.

Daytime burglaries at Lake Ketchum and Warm Beach
Reports of burglaries in the outlying areas of Stanwood have been confirmed by Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office.
Specific areas include Lake Ketchum, Warm Beach and Seven Lakes.
