Gala auction nothing without volunteers
Dear Editor: The Camano Island Senior and Community Center would like to thank the many volunteers, donors, and attendees at our gala auction Sept. 26. Due to the support of the community we had a successful auction raising funds to support our facilities, which provide outreach, meal programs, a variety of classes and groups, and transportation. Dear Editor: Juvenile justice, criminal justice, mental illness, drug addiction are all headline makers, for sure. But what are the solutions to these correlated society ills?
