Senior plans talent show for food bank
Dear Editor:
I am a senior at Stanwood High School and for my senior project I have chosen to collect food for the Stanwood/ Camano Food Bank by hosting a Stanwood/Camano Community Talent Show and Food Drive.
The show starts 7 p.m., Oct. 10, at in the Stanwood High School Performing Arts Center. Admission to the show will be non-perishable food items or cash donations to the food bank. My goal is to collect 500 pounds of food and I need the whole community's help to reach that goal. We have some great acts planned for the show and I hope to see many community members there on Oct. 10.
