Aaron John Marquis, 36, passed away peacefully at Madigan Army Medical Center in Fort Lewis Sept. 18, 2009. Aaron was born on Jan. 7, 1973 in Millinocket, Maine. Following his graduation from Stearns High School in 1991 he enlisted in the United States Navy and began an 18-year career during which time he traveled to many diverse ports of call and duty stations. Guenther O. Fortmann
1922-2009
Guenther O. Fortmann was born in Hamburg, Germany in 1922 and emmigrated to Washington state in 1950. He worked for the Northern Pacific Railroad and retired from the F.A.A. He also enjoyed living in Alaska and Idaho, but his final home was on Camano Island. He loved skiing, hiking and anything outdoors. Full Story

Iona M. Magill passed away peacefully at home Sept. 12, 2009. She was born Dec. 23, 1919 in Moran, Kansas, to Fred and Joy Geyer. She was preceded in death by her husband John, her parents, sister Irene, brothers Roy and Eli, and step grandsons Mike and Tony. Full Story
