Stanwood man held for alleged robberies

A 21-year-old Stanwood man was arrested recently in Lynnwood for suspicion of robbery and unlawful possession of a firearm.

According to police records, the man was subsequently arrested by Arlington Police while in custody last week for an alleged armed robbery at a pizza parlor in Arlington.

Prior to being arrested, the man allegedly shot himself in the hand with a pistol while showing it to friends, according to police.

T he man remains in jail

subject to $125,000 bail.
