Thanks to SCAF for its support
Dear Editor, On behalf of both the Stanwood and Camano Island libraries, I would like to thank the Stanwood Camano Area Foundation for its generous support of our community read event, Stanwood/ Camano: Together We Read. This year, we'll be discussing the book "Plenty: Eating Locally on the 100 Mile Diet" by Alisa Smith and J. B. Mackinnon. Full Story

Thanks for tribute to Arnold Lunnum
Dear Editor: It was kind of Mayor Dianne White and the Stanwood City Council to place a plaque at the horseshoe pits in Heritage Park, to honor Arnold Lunnum. Arnold was solely responsible for the promotion and installation of the pits. Full Story

Dear Editor: I thank you for printing my little anecdotes over the last weeks. It just bothers me that my last name has been misspelled twice. I even had a printed address label and clearly wrote my name. I am from Scandinavia, Danish. Full Story

The land we work on belongs to Mike Mouracade who made the decision to donate this year's total crop to the food bank. Full Story
