Parade was a great success

Dear Editor:

The Stanwood/Camano Rotary Club would like to thank the following individuals and groups for helping make this year's Stanwood- Camano Community Parade a great success.

Thanks to our terrific sponsors: Pat Rimmer Tire Center/Les Schwab, Windermere of Stanwood and Camano Island, and Thomas and Associates. Thanks to our announcing team of Sven Mogelgaard, Eleanor Guderian and Bobbie Alf, and to John McLean for arranging the judges, and to the Blackjacks for their flyover to kick off the parade.

We also thank the Twin City Idlers for letting us use their sound system and providing cars for our dignitaries, and Juanita Kolbeck, with Zumba Fitness, for providing a second sound system.

A big thanks goes out to the city of Stanwood and all the police and fire agencies that worked with us.

I also want to extend much appreciation to my staff and everyone at the Camano Senior and Community Center for their work in support of this great community event.

Thank you to my fellow Rotarians who helped.
