Dear Editor:

Thank you for reminding us that members are sought for Design Stanwood.

Design Stanwood is a grassroots organization founded in 2003 to improve our city and surrounding areas.

Membership helps support the organization and provides a venue for citizens to be actively involved and have a collective voice.

As a member, you may be involved as much or as little as your time allows.

It could be as simple as signing a petition, assisting on clean-up day in Stanwood, serving on the landscape committee, helping with fundraisers, preparing Stanwood for Olympic Game's visitors, helping present the Taste of Port Susan in celebration of the grand opening of the train station early next year, or serving on the board.
