Second in tourney
The Marysville Mustangs 12U baseball team with Camano Island players, Riley Kluin, Jayson Withers and Wyatt Jeans, came away with trophies in their second consecutive tournament. They placed second in the Last Chance Baseball Tournament in Lynden last weekend. In their first four games, they out-scored their opponents 55-6 with seven home runs, including one grand slam by Aaron Avalos. Riley Kluin pitched in two games and never allowed a runner on base. Fishing limits change in some areas
The recreational fishery in marine areas 5 and 6 (Sekiu and eastern Strait of Juan de Fuca) will end early for hatchery chinook salmon, but anglers may continue to retain pink and hatchery coho salmon.
