She was born in Bellingham and is survived by her husband, Raymond Loso, her son Anthony Johnson and his wife and three boys, her parents Robert and Dorothy Houx, and her five sisters: Marleena Jones, Donna Gray, Claudine Wills, Toni Squier and Berta Houx; and eight grandchildren. Dorothy Mae Greg, of Stanwood, passed away July 28, 2009, after a brief illness. She was at home and surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on the family farm in Stevens County, Wash., on Nov. 22, 1919. She graduated from Wenatchee High School and later attended Kinman Business School in Spokane. On Dec. 7, 1940, she married Gerald Grey and they were together 69 years. Full Story

Clifford M. Danielson passed away July 29, 2009. Cliff was born June 2, 1922, on the family farm in Vining, Minn., the 13th and last child of Carl and Mary Storbo Danielson. At the age of 3 he moved with the family to the Cedarhome area of East Stanwood, where he attended school, graduating from Lincoln High School in 1940. Full Story

Charles Nathaniel Tveter passed away July 19, 2009 following an extended illness. He was born in Tacoma May 26, 1917 and moved with his family at a very young age to Anacortes where he grew up and attended school. As a youngster, he worked at various jobs in Skagit County: From setting pins in the bowling alley to working on a dairy farm. Full Story
