Accident snarls traffic, no injuries

A three-car pile up that occurred at 5 a.m. on the Mark Clark Bridge tied up traffic for morning commuters Wednesday.

According to North County Fire/EMS spokesman Christian Davis there were no injuries and no one had to be transported by aid car.

"Luckily and fortunately, there were no injuries," said Davis. "One of the cars was pretty banged up."

The bridge was closed down to a single lane at the time of the accident due to ongoing bridge replacement construction.

"It did create a bit of a traffic mess, though," he said.
