Olson & Ohlson loses headship; closing store

Dear Editor:

On April 17, the community of Stanwood lost a great friend.

Elaine Berg (Ohlson), owner of Olson & Ohlson Antiques brought people together and taught many of us the importance of community.

She was our fearless leader, a dispenser of sage advice, always good for a laugh and reminded us to have faith in ourselves and others.

This August 31, we, Elaine's family and friends, are closing O&O Antiques due to our own conflicting commitments.

We invite our patrons to stop by the shop at 8712 271st St. NW between now and then from noon to 5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday.

On behalf of Elaine, thank you Stanwood and Camano. It was a fun ride.

Alyssa Hagen Stanwood
