Festival of the Stillaguamish River


The 20th annual Stillaguamish Festival of the River offers great live music, a powwow, salmon bake, a fun run, fun activities for kids and valuable information about how to preserve water quality and the surrounding environment, Aug. 8 and 9. Saturday's entertainment includes Colin Hay, from Men at Work, Richie Havens, Pato Banton, Leroy Bell and his only friends and on Sunday, KMPS welcomes Jake Owen, James Otto, Jessica Andrews and more. Presented by the Stillaguamish Tribe at River Meadows Park east of Arlington, the festival starts at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 and 9. Admission is free. Web site at www.FestivaloftheRiver.com.
