Arnold Haakon Lunnum was born March 2, 1917 on the family farm on Happy Valley Road, Silvana, and he passed on July 21, 2009 in Stanwood. Nels Konn eru p Dec. 4, 1916 - Jul y 21, 2009
Nels Konnerup, beloved husband, dad, grandpa and great grandpa, died at his home on Camano, July 21, 2009. He was born in Everett on Dec. 4, 1916 and was raised in Kennicott, Alaska. He became a copper miner at 17, then decided to attend Washington State University and graduated as a veterinarian in 1942. Full Story
Nanc y Coff ey
Nancy Coffey, 59, died July 22 at the University of Washington Medical Center after a long eight-month battle from a bad double lung transplant. Her husband, Jim, was at her side, guiding her through a very peaceful exit. She amazed her family, friends, nurses and doctors with her strength and will to live. She will be missed by so many. John W. Finley, M.D.
Dr. John W. Finley passed away on July 6, 2009 in Stanwood at the age of 90. He was born in Great Falls, Mont. and attended school in Lewiston, Idaho. He graduated from Harvard Medical School in 1943, then joined the Army and served in the European Theatre until 1947. He then settled in Seattle and practiced medicine until he retired in 1988.
