Golf tournament benefits the Alzheimer Society

The Alzheimer Society of Washington presents "A Round to Remember," 18 holes of fun and competition in a four-player scramble format at Dakota Creek Golf and Country Club, 3258 Haynie Road, Custer, north of Bellingham on Saturday, Aug. 29.

There'll be plenty of contests to show off your mad golfing skills, and a barbeque, with raffles featuring lots of gifts and contest prizes.

Friends, family members and business associates are encouraged to form teams, enjoy a great round of golf, and help raise funds to fight Alzheimer's disease by educating and supporting the families, friends and caregivers of those affected by dementia.

Registration is $60 per player and $240 per "Unforgettable Foursome," including a cart. The fun begins 7:15 a.m. with 8 a.m. "shotgun" start, contests throughout the morning, and barbecue and raffles at noon.
