New counselor in town

Ed Ferrigan, M.A. Ed Ferrigan, M.A. Ed Ferrigan, M.A., has announced he is now open for new clients. Ferrigan moved to the Stanwood area two years ago has been practicing body-centered psychotherapy for more than 15 years.

He has worked with individuals and couples of all ages.

Ferrigan is certified in the Hendricks method of body centered psychotherapy and a trauma release method called Somatic Experiencing ®.

"My work is very different from traditional models in that there is less talk and more sensing and tracking of the nervous system activation and regulation cycles," Ferrigan said.

"This enables the client to more readily track for themselves how they manage information. It targets the core issue rapidly but with great sensitivity to the well-being of the individual to make release as gentle as possible."

Ferrigan works with individuals who come from backgrounds of trauma related to birth and prenatal trauma, womb toxicity, adoption, abuse, falls, surgery, high velocity accidents and other forms of trauma.

He received his master's degree from Antioch University.

For a free half-hour consultation call Ferrigan at 360-652-4017.
