Stanwood space program set to launch
Stanwood High Altitude Research Club (SHARC) will be holding an organizational meeting Thurs., Aug. 6, 6 - 7 p.m. at the Stanwood Library meeting room. The club, whose goal is to send a payload into near space via weather balloon, is open to all ages and abilities. Especially needed are volunteers with engineering, electrical or Ham radio experience. Breast cancer team charity auction
Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3-Day team "2gether" will host a charity auction and barbecue dinner on Tulalip Bay, Sun, July 26, 3-6 p.m. Bring the whole family. Hosted by team members Holly Miller and daughters Becky Hammond and Ellie Brown, the auction and barbecue will be held at 6904 Totem Beach Loop Rd., Tulalip. Auditions for 'Caught in Net'
